1. What UTable is

UTable connects diners and restaurants to manage table reservations. UTable is not a party to the meal or to any transaction between you and the restaurant.

2. Reservations are not purchases

A reservation made through UTable does not imply any purchase commitment, prepayment or legal bond between diner and restaurant. Each restaurant defines its own policies (confirmation, cancellation window, arrival tolerance, no-show handling) and shows them before you book. UTable displays those policies but does not enforce, penalize or arbitrate them.

3. Diner accounts

• You need Sign in with Apple to book. Keep your device secure; reservations in your account are yours to manage.
• Up to 3 active reservations per restaurant. Book in good faith and cancel as early as you can if plans change.
• Your reservation QR code is personal and renews every 30 seconds; you may transfer a reservation to another UTable user with the transfer code.
• You can delete your account at any time from Profile.

4. Restaurant accounts

• Only the owner or a person authorized by the owner may register a restaurant. One active registration per Apple Maps listing. We may deactivate registrations that are shown to be unauthorized.
• Ownership verification is optional and based on the restaurant's website domain; a "verified" badge only means that check succeeded.
• Restaurants are responsible for their configuration, policies, and for handling reservations and diners' data lawfully.
• Team members access the restaurant with a daily code provided by the owner, under the owner's responsibility.

5. Restaurant subscription

Restaurant use of UTable is free for a trial period and then subject to a monthly subscription purchased through the App Store, billed by Apple to your Apple account, auto-renewing until cancelled in your Apple subscription settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Prices are shown in the App Store in your local currency. Diners never pay.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use UTable to make fake reservations, impersonate a business, harass anyone, scrape data, or interfere with the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

7. Availability and liability

UTable is provided "as is". We work to keep it available and accurate (including restaurant data from Apple Maps) but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or the conduct of restaurants or diners. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer is not liable for indirect damages, lost bookings, no-shows or disputes between diners and restaurants.

8. Intellectual property

UTable, its name, logo and software belong to the Developer. Map data belongs to Apple and its providers.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; continued use after an update means acceptance. Questions: contact@utableapp.com.

10. Eligibility

To register a restaurant you must be of legal age and have authority to bind that business. Diners must be legally capable of accepting these terms or use UTable under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

11. Verification is automated — no warranty of identity

Ownership verification (email to the listing's website domain and/or an automated call to the listing's public phone number) runs fully automatically, without human review. A "verified" badge means only that the automated check succeeded at that time: it is not a legal certification of identity, authority or good standing. Diners should also use their own judgment (the restaurant's Instagram link, Apple Maps data, reviews) before relying on any listing. The Developer may remove badges or deactivate registrations at any time when misuse is reported or suspected.

12. Disputes between diners and restaurants — indemnity

Any dispute regarding a reservation, cancellation, no-show, pricing, service, food quality or conduct is strictly between the diner and the restaurant. UTable does not mediate, arbitrate or issue refunds on behalf of restaurants. You agree to indemnify and hold the Developer harmless from claims, damages and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of UTable, your breach of these terms, or your dealings with the other party to a reservation.

13. Food safety, allergies and legal compliance of restaurants

Restaurants are solely responsible for their food, hygiene, licensing, accessibility, pricing and compliance with the laws that apply to them. UTable does not inspect venues and does not verify menus, allergen information or health permits. If you have allergies or dietary restrictions, confirm directly with the restaurant.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, abuse the service or create legal risk, with or without notice. You may stop using UTable at any time and delete your account from the app. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (liability, indemnity, intellectual property, governing law) survive it.

15. Governing law, severability and entire agreement

These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic, and disputes with the Developer are subject to the ordinary courts of the City of Buenos Aires — except where the consumer-protection rules of your country of residence mandate a different venue, in which case those rules prevail. If any clause is held invalid, the rest remains in force. These terms are the entire agreement between you and the Developer regarding UTable.

1. Qué es UTable

UTable conecta comensales y restaurantes para gestionar reservas de mesa. UTable no es parte de la comida ni de ninguna transacción entre vos y el restaurante.

2. La reserva no es una compra

Una reserva hecha por UTable no implica compromiso de compra, prepago ni vínculo legal entre comensal y restaurante. Cada restaurante define sus propias políticas (confirmación, plazo de cancelación, tolerancia de llegada, manejo de no-shows) y las muestra antes de reservar. UTable las exhibe pero no las hace cumplir, no penaliza ni arbitra.

3. Cuentas de comensales

• Necesitás Sign in with Apple para reservar. Cuidá tu dispositivo; las reservas de tu cuenta las gestionás vos.
• Hasta 3 reservas activas por restaurante. Reservá de buena fe y cancelá lo antes posible si cambian tus planes.
• Tu QR de reserva es personal y se renueva cada 30 segundos; podés transferir una reserva a otro usuario de UTable con el código de transferencia.
• Podés eliminar tu cuenta cuando quieras desde Perfil.

4. Cuentas de restaurantes

• Solo el dueño o una persona autorizada por el dueño puede registrar un restaurante. Un registro activo por ficha de Apple Maps. Podemos desactivar registros que se demuestren no autorizados.
• La verificación de titularidad es opcional y se basa en el dominio del sitio web del restaurante; el sello "verificado" solo significa que esa comprobación fue exitosa.
• Los restaurantes son responsables de su configuración, sus políticas y del tratamiento lícito de las reservas y datos de los comensales.
• El equipo accede al restaurante con un código diario que entrega el dueño, bajo su responsabilidad.

5. Suscripción del restaurante

El uso de UTable por parte de los restaurantes es gratuito durante un período de prueba y luego requiere una suscripción mensual comprada en el App Store, facturada por Apple a tu cuenta de Apple, con renovación automática hasta que la canceles en tus ajustes de suscripciones de Apple al menos 24 horas antes del fin del período vigente. Los precios se muestran en el App Store en tu moneda local. Los comensales nunca pagan.

6. Uso aceptable

No uses UTable para hacer reservas falsas, suplantar a un negocio, hostigar a nadie, extraer datos ni interferir con el servicio. Podemos suspender cuentas que lo hagan.

7. Disponibilidad y responsabilidad

UTable se ofrece "tal cual". Trabajamos para mantenerla disponible y precisa (incluidos los datos de restaurantes de Apple Maps) pero no podemos garantizar servicio ininterrumpido ni la conducta de restaurantes o comensales. En la máxima medida permitida por la ley, el Desarrollador no responde por daños indirectos, reservas perdidas, no-shows ni disputas entre comensales y restaurantes.

8. Propiedad intelectual

UTable, su nombre, logo y software pertenecen al Desarrollador. Los datos de mapas pertenecen a Apple y sus proveedores.

9. Cambios y contacto

Podemos actualizar estos términos; seguir usando la app tras una actualización implica aceptarlos. Consultas: contact@utableapp.com.

10. Elegibilidad

Para registrar un restaurante tenés que ser mayor de edad y tener facultades para obligar a ese negocio. Los comensales deben tener capacidad legal para aceptar estos términos o usar UTable bajo la supervisión de un padre, madre o tutor.

11. La verificación es automática — sin garantía de identidad

La verificación de titularidad (email al dominio del sitio de la ficha y/o llamada automática al teléfono público de la ficha) corre de forma totalmente automática, sin revisión humana. El sello "verificado" significa únicamente que esa comprobación automática fue exitosa en ese momento: no es una certificación legal de identidad, representación ni situación del negocio. El comensal debe además usar su propio criterio (el link de Instagram del restaurante, los datos de Apple Maps, las reseñas) antes de confiar en una ficha. El Desarrollador puede retirar sellos o desactivar registros en cualquier momento ante denuncias o sospechas de uso indebido.

12. Disputas entre comensales y restaurantes — indemnidad

Cualquier disputa sobre una reserva, cancelación, no-show, precios, servicio, calidad de la comida o conducta es exclusivamente entre el comensal y el restaurante. UTable no media, no arbitra ni emite reembolsos en nombre de los restaurantes. Aceptás mantener indemne al Desarrollador frente a reclamos, daños y gastos (incluidos honorarios legales razonables) derivados de tu uso de UTable, de tu incumplimiento de estos términos o de tu relación con la otra parte de una reserva.

13. Seguridad alimentaria, alergias y cumplimiento legal de los restaurantes

Los restaurantes son los únicos responsables de su comida, higiene, habilitaciones, accesibilidad, precios y del cumplimiento de las leyes que les aplican. UTable no inspecciona locales ni verifica menús, información de alérgenos ni permisos sanitarios. Si tenés alergias o restricciones alimentarias, confirmalo directamente con el restaurante.

14. Suspensión y terminación

Podemos suspender o dar de baja cuentas que incumplan estos términos, abusen del servicio o generen riesgo legal, con o sin aviso. Podés dejar de usar UTable cuando quieras y eliminar tu cuenta desde la app. Las secciones que por su naturaleza deben sobrevivir a la terminación (responsabilidad, indemnidad, propiedad intelectual, ley aplicable) la sobreviven.

15. Ley aplicable, divisibilidad y acuerdo completo

Estos términos se rigen por las leyes de la República Argentina y las disputas con el Desarrollador se someten a los tribunales ordinarios de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires — salvo que las normas de defensa del consumidor de tu país de residencia impongan otro fuero, en cuyo caso prevalecen esas normas. Si alguna cláusula resultara inválida, el resto conserva su vigencia. Estos términos son el acuerdo completo entre vos y el Desarrollador respecto de UTable.
